This Mitsubishi is recorded as Insurance Category N following an extremely minor incident to the rear of the vehicle. The insurance claim related to one driver’s-side rear tail light and a scuff to the rear bumper, which required a SMART repair.

Although the damage was very minor, because the incident went through the insurance company, the vehicle was subsequently recorded as Category N.

Pictures of the previous damage can be supplied upon request, so prospective buyers can see exactly what the claim related to.

The car now presents lovely and drives faultlessly. The previous insurance claim does not detract from what is a very nice, low-mileage, well-specced ASX.

This is also why we are able to offer the car for £8,495 rather than the £10,000+ price we would expect for an equivalent non-category example.
